The leading museum on Okinawa, with its exposition of beautiful Ryukyuan lacquerware
Centered on a permanent exposition of lacquerware, the museum offers the discovery of the pride of the Ryukyuan dynasty and its charms. It also introduces Asian lacquer artifacts and the history and culture of the Ryukyu, history of exchanges with the surrounding islands and more. The museum also held exhibitions, expositions and lecture meetings at all times and has a quiet and relaxing teatime room in the basement. Surrounded by a greenery environment, the promenade to the museum itself is itself an enjoyable sight.
