Boasting beautiful nature, Kunigami Village Forest Park is known for the diverse kinds of flowers and plants. There is a three kilometers footpath where you can take a walk joyfully while listening to birds singing. The park features a campground, a rental bungalow, an astronomical observatory, and more. Situated in the middle of the forest of Yanbaru, Yonaha-dake is a 503 meters high mountain, which is the highest on the Okinawa Main Island. As soon as you enter the mountain trail, you will be surrounded by a deep subtropical forest. The mountain has a diversity of animals, plants, and insects; around the top of the mountain is designated as a National Nature Reserve to protect them. Yonaha-dake is blessed with superb nature and is perfect for hiking and bird watching.

Located right by Route 58, Road Station Yuiyui Kunigami offers local products of Kunigami Village and is good place to buy souvenir. You can park your car and rest yourself at the road station; they even have a restaurant and a cafe. At the station, there is a tourist information center where you can obtain various tourist leaflets and maps of the area.
