Regular flights from major domestic airports such as the Narita International Airport, Haneda Airport, Central Japan International Airport (Centrair), and Kansai International Airport to Okinawa's gateway Naha Airport operate daily. In addition, there are direct flights from Taipei, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Seoul to Naha Airport. For those planning to visit Ishigaki Island and Miyako Island, there are direct flights from Haneda Airport, Kansai International Airport, and Central Japan International Airport (Centrair). Naha Airport is the air gateway to Okinawa. Regular flights operate from major domestic airports as well as foreign countries. There is also a Tourist Information Center, bank and post office, etc. in the terminal.
Boats and airplanes can be used from the Okinawa Main Island to outlying islands. Ishigaki Island and Miyako Island are convenient starting points for visiting the Miyako and Yaeyama regions.
Go to the Naha bus and taxi from the airport as well, even with a smooth Monorail Station adjacent. The terminal point is also rich in gifts. The wait can be comfortable.

A landmark of Naha is Okinawa's first monorail "Yui Rail". It runs from Naha Airport to

Bus lines cover almost the entire Okinawa Main Island and are a convenient way to go

Airport Limousine Bus: Airport Limousine Bus is also available between Naha-Airport and major resort hotels in Okinawa Main Island. Taxis in Okinawa to the mainland than the basic fare is cheap, easily available.
There is also a tourist taxi cab driver with a certified crew guide you around the island to enjoy listening to the guide crew.
- Taxis are available 24 hours a day.
- Minimum metered fare is 500yen until 1.8km, which increases 60yen every 360m.
- An additional 20% surcharge is added at 10pm to 5am throughout the year.
- All taxis accept cash and some accept major credit cards.
- The doors are automated. This means that when you hale a taxi, and it comes to a halt, the driver will pull a lever inside the door to open the cab. You will climb in, and the driver will hit the lever to shut the door. The procedure is the same when you arrive at your destination. The driver will open and shut the door with the lever.
- There is no tipping.
