July 2012 A must-see for rock fans! Okinawa's biggest music festival!
The Peaceful Love Rock Festival is an energetic outdoor concert with performances by domestic and international artists. The event began in 1983 to infuse energy into the Okinawan rock scene born in Koza after the war. It has become one of the summer's most electrifying events, and also become a gateway to success for amateur bands, a way to break into the Okinawan rock scene, as the event holds auditions every year to pick up talented artists to perform in the festival.
